Jose Mier’s Latest Shopping Trip
Okay, so I had the opportunity to go to Costco once more very soon after the last trip. If you read my previous Jose Mier Sun Valley blog post you know I was very surprised to find that I could just walk into Costco without waiting in any line.
I don’t usually make another Costco trip so soon after the last one but there were some things that Costco put on sale and I wanted to snap them up before they were gone. Once again I arrived at about 10:30 AM, parked my car, and walked up to the entrance. Once again there were absolutely no lines. I was able to walk in make my purchases very quickly and check out. The only lines of any kind were waiting to check out. And really these moved quite quickly.
The one thing I always do automatically when I go to Costco these days is to look for the Clorox disinfecting wipes. I know it’s probably overly hopeful of me to expect to see any on the shelves but I do it anyway. And, of course, there were no wipes available.
All this occurred on September 2 so the trip was very recent after my last one. I think that the absence of any lines twice in a row may be a sign the things are getting back to normal. I certainly hope so. At least that’s the case here in Sun Valley. So until next time this is José Meyer saying happy shopping.
